Ventile® Eco 250 is a 250g/m weight, 100% recycled cotton fabric. On the back of growing customer demand, we have added two new fabrics to our current recycled offering. The lighter-weight Ventile® 250 RCO, and the Ventile® 230 RCO poplin fabric, are both made from 100% recycled GRS certified cotton. After the successful development of our recycled fabric in 2018, the popularity of the Ventile® sustainable range has grown exponentially.

The Performance Days awards celebrate the latest trends in fabric development for the functional textile industry, while offering visitors everything from textiles to yarns, finishes and accessories. The bi-annual functional fabric fair brings together international manufacturers, sportswear brands, and active clothing brands. With exhibitors from over 30 different countries and over 240 different products on display, the Performance Days fair brings together the best of the best.

The process to assess whether a fabric receives ‘100% Jury Like’ begins with jury members meeting and inspecting all items that are submitted by the exhibitors. Each member of the group then proceeds to nominate the items they see suitable to exhibit at the performance forum. If all jury members agree on a single item, this product is marked as ‘100% Jury Like’.

This recent award is further recognition of both the quality Ventile® fabric possesses, and the hard work carried out by all of us here at Ventile®, in what has been a difficult and turbulent year for all. We are delighted that this recent acknowledgement helps us to end 2020 on strong note, with lots more to come in 2021.
