Ahead of our 80th anniversary this year, we are pleased to announce a joint venture that marks a milestone moment in our history. We have partnered with The Egyptian Biodynamic Association [EBDA], an organic and regenerative farming association, to support Egyptian farmers in applying biodynamic cotton farming methods.
How does EBDA work?
The Egyptian Biodynamic Association was founded in 1994 and has currently 2,380 farming members around Egypt. Its main activities are to support conventional farmers as they convert to organic and biodynamic regenerative farming methods, and through the maintenance of sustainable agriculture which provide a positive impact on the environment.
Our ongoing support will enable the association to assist more cotton farmers to convert their land into a self-sustaining farm using regenerative principles.
Love the Environment.
Looking after the environment is more important now than ever before.
Cotton sourced from biodynamic farming is grown without the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and harmful, toxic inputs such as artificial fertilisers, herbicides, and pesticides. Sustainable farming methods help to combat climate change, reduce water consumption, and contribute to a healthier life for farmers, their communities and livestock, as well as the end consumer.
