Tried and tested

Ventile® is subjected to some of the most stringent tests in the textile industry. Before we bring you the finished performance fabric, we check every batch under the following conditions:

• Tensile and tear strength where our advanced machines measure exactly how difficult it is to tear the fabric across its weft and warp (horizontal/ vertical weave of fabric)
• The level of waterproofness using a Hydrostatic Head rating
• Abrasion tests
• Dimensional stability (shrinkage)
• Fabric weight (per square metre)
• Colour fastness to rubbing (wet and dry test)
