The brand new addition to our Ventile Eco range, Ventile Eco Hemp, receives an accolade for the Best Eco Performance fabric. It is the second year in a row for our Ventile Eco range to be awarded at Performance Days fair, following the success of the Ventile Eco Recycled fabric at the 2019 Performance Days awards.

For this year's competition, we submitted our latest development, Ventile Eco 205 fabric, blend of premium long-staple cotton with hemp fibers. New in our Eco range for 2020, the Ventile Eco 205 fabric was up against a large number of exhibitors from all over the world.

In previous years, we have secured commendation from the jury for our Ventile Eco Recycled: a recycled 100% cotton fabric. This year, we fought off stiff competition to win in the ‘Eco Performance’ category with our Ventile Eco 205. The latest textile blend brings to the textile industry a unique combination of 32 % premium Hemp fibers with a 68% superior long-staple, organic cotton offering unrivalled breathability and water resistance.

Our Production Manager, Daniel Odermatt commented: “We are delighted to receive such a prestigious accolade for our Ventile Eco range for the second year in a row. The Performance Days awards, which were announced this month, celebrate the latest trends in fabric development for the functional textile industry. Winners were carefully selected by a jury made up of experts from universities, apparel brands, purchasing teams, and fabric technologists from across the industry.
