After months of planning, we are excited to announce our intention to expand our reach in the South Korean market with the appointment of a new distribution partner, Grimm International.

For over a decade, Ventile has successfully traded in the Asian market and so, we have taken the next step and appointed Grimm International as the exclusive distributor of our premium fabric to bolster sales in the region and present the brand to a wider audience.

Initially, we will look to suppling our best-selling L24 Original fabric along with a host of new eco-fabrics, with plans to expand the offering after the first year of trading. Our Ventile fabrics will join coveted manufacturers such as Harris Tweed, wool specialists Alfred Brown, and corduroy manufacturers Brisbane Moss, at the fabric agency.

Established in 2014, Grimm International is a leader in the South Korean textile market working with supply chains, manufacturers, and distributors, to provide the territory with a varied catalogue of fabric from leading textile manufacturers. Grimm International specialises in working with companies that have a strong British heritage and supplies to a network of over 500 tailors.

Of the announcement, Ventile Brand Director, Daniel Odermatt said: “We have experienced strong growth in interest from brands in and around Asia and we have worked with a number of companies directly over the years. With such an increase in popularity, it made perfect sense to expand into this territory with a more targeted approach.
